THE CREATION STORY

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. He is eternal, holy, wise, and good. He spoke light into darkness, formed the seas and the skies, and filled the earth with life. And then He created man. He did so, not by accident. Not by evolution. Not by chance. But intentionally. He created man in His image and for His glory. We were made on purpose with purpose. We were made to know Him, reflect Him, and walk with Him.

But mankind rebelled. We chose sin over obedience, self over God, darkness over light. And because God is holy and just, sin brought death. Spiritual separation from Him and the certainty of judgment. The world is broken because we are broken. Yet even in judgment, God promised redemption. From the very beginning, He revealed that a Savior would come.

THE GOOD NEWS

That Savior is Jesus Christ.

Jesus is not merely a teacher or moral example. He is the eternal Son of God who took on flesh, lived the perfect life we failed to live, and willingly went to the cross. There, He bore the full weight of sin — not His own, but ours. The wrath we deserved was poured out on Him. The punishment that brings peace fell upon Him. He was crucified, buried, and on the third day He rose from the grave, victorious over sin and death.

The resurrection is not symbolic. It is historical, powerful, and decisive. Jesus Christ is alive. He is Lord. Salvation is not earned by good works, religion, charity, or effort. It is a gift of grace received through faith. Whoever turns from sin and trusts in Christ alone is forgiven, reconciled to God, and given eternal life.

REPENT & BELIEVE

This is not just information. This is a call.

Right now, you stand on one side of eternity. You have breath in your lungs. That is mercy. But there are only two destinations beyond this life. Everlasting life with Christ or everlasting judgment apart from Him. Neutral ground does not exist. To reject Jesus Christ is to remain under condemnation. To receive Him is to be made new.

Repent. Turn from sin. Lay down pride. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Cry out to Him for mercy. He saves completely. He restores fully. He transforms truly. Today is the day of salvation. Do not harden your heart. Come to Christ and live.

FREQUENTLY ASKED GOSPEL QUESTIONS

Please reach us at info@forthatone.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

The Gospel means “good news.” The good news is that although we have sinned against a holy God, Jesus Christ lived the life we failed to live, died the death we deserved to die, and rose again so that all who repent and believe in Him will be forgiven and reconciled to God.

“Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures… He was buried… He was raised on the third day.” – 1 Corinthians 15:3–4

“Repent and believe in the gospel.” – Mark 1:15

Because all have sinned.

Every human being has broken God’s law in thought, word, and deed. Sin separates us from God and brings judgment.

“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23
“The wages of sin is death.” – Romans 6:23

Salvation is not about improvement. It is about rescue.

Jesus is not merely a teacher or prophet. He is God the Son, fully God and fully man, who came to seek and save the lost.

“In the beginning was the Word… and the Word was God.” – John 1:1

“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” – John 1:14

He is the only Savior.

Yes.

Not because Christianity is narrow, but because truth is exclusive. Jesus Himself declared:

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” – John 14:6

“There is salvation in no one else.” – Acts 4:12

There are many religions. There is only one Savior.

Repentance means turning.

It is a change of mind that leads to a change of direction — turning from sin and turning to Christ in faith.

“God commands all people everywhere to repent.” – Acts 17:30
“Bear fruit in keeping with repentance.” – Matthew 3:8

Repentance is not perfection. It is surrender.

Biblical belief is not mere agreement with facts.

It is trust. It is entrusting your life, your soul, your eternity to Christ alone.

“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” – Acts 16:31
“To all who did receive Him… He gave the right to become children of God.” – John 1:12

Saving faith rests fully in Him.

No.

Salvation is a gift of grace, not a wage earned by works.

“By grace you have been saved through faith… not a result of works.” – Ephesians 2:8–9
“He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness.” – Titus 3:5

Good works follow salvation — they do not cause it.

After death comes judgment.

Every person will stand before God.

“It is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.” – Hebrews 9:27
“We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ.” – 2 Corinthians 5:10

For those in Christ: eternal life.
For those outside of Christ: eternal separation.

This is why the Gospel matters.

Because God is both loving and just.

A good judge cannot ignore evil. Hell is the just consequence of unrepented sin.

“God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.” – 1 John 1:5
“These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” – Matthew 25:46

The cross shows both His justice and His mercy.

You do not become a Christian by ritual, background, or moral effort.

You become a Christian by:

  1. Recognizing your sin

  2. Repenting

  3. Trusting in Jesus Christ alone

  4. Confessing Him as Lord

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” – Romans 10:9

Call upon Him. He saves sinners.

Christians still battle sin — but they no longer belong to it.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us.” – 1 John 1:9
“Sin will have no dominion over you.” – Romans 6:14

The evidence of salvation is not sinless perfection. It is Spirit-empowered perseverance.

Have You Responded?

The Gospel is not information to admire.

It is truth to respond to.

Today is the day to repent and believe.

"Now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation"

 2 Corinthians 6:2

“Therefore, having overlooked the times of ignorance, God now commands all people everywhere to repent, because He has set a day when He is going to judge the world in righteousness by the Man He has appointed. He has provided proof of this to everyone by raising Him from the dead."

ACTS 17:30-31
