NELSON ESTRADA...

I was a man marked by mental health struggles and a well-deserved bad reputation. You might say I was a lost sheep in need of a shepherd. Well, that Shepherd showed up in the form of Jesus Christ. He rescued and transformed me in such a profound way. In my gratitude, I founded For That One Ministries, a Gospel-driven ministry dedicated to calling the lost and strengthening the found for the glory of Jesus Christ. I share His Gospel everywhere I can in the hope of seeing the lost come to salvation through the Gospel's saving message. And I encourage the found in Jesus Christ in the hope of seeing them strengthened by God's life-transforming truths. I am just a man saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and this ministry is my humble contribution to His kingdom.

WHAT DRIVES US...

CALLING THE LOST

STRENGTHENING THE FOUND

STRENGTHENING THE FOUND

All of us, like sheep, have gone astray because of sin. Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd who lovingly calls His sheep to Himself. He seeks those who are lost, offering them salvation, forgiveness, and the gift of new life through Him.

STRENGTHENING THE FOUND

STRENGTHENING THE FOUND

STRENGTHENING THE FOUND

Jesus Christ does not merely save His sheep. He also strengthens them. By His glorious power, He gives His people the endurance, patience, and spiritual strength they need to remain faithful and persevere to the end.

FOR THE GLORY OF JESUS CHRIST

STRENGTHENING THE FOUND

FOR THE GLORY OF JESUS CHRIST

Through the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ equips His sheep with love, boldness, courage, and power so they can faithfully proclaim the Gospel. He enables His people to be effective witnesses who glorify Him by making Him known to the ends of the earth.

Scripture reveals that mankind, apart from God, is like sheep without a shepherd. Weary, scattered, vulnerable, and prone to wander.

Without true guidance, we drift. Without truth, we are led astray. Yet God, in His mercy, has not left us without a Shepherd.

Jesus Christ seeks, gathers, leads, and laid down His life for the sheep.

He calls the one, warns the one, restores the one, and rejoices over the one who repents.  As imitators of Jesus Christ, we do the same.

Inspired by His love and empowered with His Gospel, we call the one who is lost and strengthen the one who is found.

And we do this for His glory.

The Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ.

CONFESSION OF FAITH...

THE GLORY OF GOD

We believe that the chief purpose of all creation is the glory of the one true and living God. He alone is worthy of all worship, honor, obedience, and praise. From Him, through Him, and to Him are all things.

"For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever. Amen." Romans 11:36

GOD

We believe in one God (Deuteronomy 6:4), eternally existing in three distinct Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). These three are one in divine essence, equal in glory, majesty, power, holiness, eternity, and perfection. Each Person possesses the fullness of the divine nature, yet there is but one God worthy of worship.

God is the eternal Creator, Sustainer, and Sovereign Lord over all things. He governs all creation according to His perfect wisdom, righteousness, and purpose, accomplishing all that He has ordained for His own glory.

GOD - THE FATHER

We believe in God the Father Almighty, the Maker of heaven and earth, from whom are all things and for whom all things exist (1 Corinthians 8:6).

The Father eternally loves the Son, sends the Son to accomplish redemption, and sends the Holy Spirit to apply that redemption to His people. He graciously adopts believers as His children through Jesus Christ, providing every good and perfect gift according to His sovereign will (James 1:17).

GOD - THE SON

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, the second Person of the Holy Trinity, eternally begotten of the Father, true God from true God, Light from Light, of one essence with the Father.

He is the eternal Word through whom all things were created (John 1:1–3). In the fullness of time, He became truly man without ceasing to be truly God, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.

Jesus Christ lived a perfectly sinless life, fulfilling the righteous requirements of God's Law on behalf of His people. He willingly offered Himself upon the cross as the once-for-all substitutionary sacrifice for sinners, bearing the wrath of God deserved by His people.

He was buried, rose bodily from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven, reigns at the right hand of the Father, continually intercedes for His people, and will visibly return in power and glory to judge the living and the dead and establish His everlasting kingdom.

We believe that Jesus Christ alone is Lord, Savior, Mediator, Great High Priest, Good Shepherd, King of kings, and the only name under heaven by which sinners must be saved (Acts 4:12).

GOD - THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe that the Holy Spirit is fully God, eternally proceeding from the Father and the Son, equal in glory and majesty with the Father and the Son.

The Holy Spirit inspired the Scriptures, convicts the world concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment, regenerates spiritually dead sinners, grants repentance and faith, indwells every believer, sanctifies God's people, produces spiritual fruit, equips believers for service, and preserves them until the day of redemption.

His ministry is always to glorify Jesus Christ, never Himself (John 16:14).

CREATION

We believe that God created all things out of nothing by His sovereign Word for His own glory.

Humanity was uniquely created in the image of God as male and female, possessing equal dignity and value while bearing distinct, complementary roles as revealed in Scripture.

Marriage is the lifelong covenant between one man and one woman and reflects Christ's covenant relationship with His Church.

HUMANITY & SIN

We believe that all people are created in God's image and therefore possess inherent dignity and worth.

Through Adam's fall, humanity became spiritually dead, separated from God, corrupted by sin, and incapable of saving itself. Every person is by nature and by choice a sinner deserving God's righteous judgment.

Apart from God's grace, no one can be reconciled to Him.

THE GOSPEL

We believe that the Gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, was buried, and rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures.

(1 Corinthians 15:1–4)

Salvation is entirely by God's grace, received through faith alone in Christ alone. It cannot be earned by works, religious observance, moral improvement, or personal merit.

Every person is commanded by God to repent and believe the Gospel. All who come to Christ in genuine repentance and faith are forgiven, justified, adopted into God's family, and granted eternal life.

SALVATION

We believe that salvation is wholly the work of God.

Those whom God saves are regenerated by the Holy Spirit, justified by grace through faith, adopted as God's children, progressively sanctified throughout their earthly lives, and ultimately glorified in the presence of Christ.

True believers are kept by God's power and will persevere in faith until the end because Christ faithfully preserves His sheep.

THE CHURCH

We believe that the universal Church consists of all who have been born again through faith in Jesus Christ.

The local church is God's ordained means for worship, discipleship, fellowship, the ordinances, pastoral care, and the proclamation of the Gospel.

Christ alone is the Head of His Church.

GOSPEL WITNESS

We believe that every believer has been entrusted with the privilege and responsibility of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ wherever God has placed them.

The Great Commission is not reserved for a select few but belongs to the entire Church. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, believers are called to live holy lives, boldly proclaim Christ, lovingly call sinners to repentance and faith, and faithfully make disciples for the glory of God.

THE RETURN OF CHRIST

We believe that Jesus Christ will personally, visibly, and bodily return to judge the living and the dead.

Those who have trusted in Christ alone will enjoy everlasting life in the presence of God in the new heavens and new earth.

Those who reject Christ will face God's righteous and eternal judgment.

OUR FINAL CONFESSION

We joyfully affirm the historic Christian faith once for all delivered to the saints.

We confess that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to Scripture alone, all to the glory of God alone.

We eagerly await the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, and until that day we devote ourselves to proclaiming His Gospel, strengthening His people, and making Him known.

"I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down his life for the sheep."

John 10:11
